So what are the (preseason) regular season expectations going to be next year?

Obviously it will depend on retaining Aranda and if a change is made at OC. But as of right now, what are we looking at?
11-1?
10-2?
9-3?
What's you got?

Improvement across the board on offense. 10+ wins.

Should be 11-1 with the team we have returning

11-1 at a minimum.
~17 returning starters (at least). Elite RB duo. Senior QB. Very manageable schedule.
Absolutely ZERO excuses next year.

12-0 or 11-1 are great seasons
10-2 is good but a slight disappointment
9-3 or worse is a failure.

I'm very optimistic for next year. Our big question marks are really going to be DL and whether our very young offense (in terms of starting experience) takes a step forward. Burrow, Chase, Marshall, CEH, and Curry need to show improvement (though the latter two I imagine will back up Emery).
1 loss is not out of the question. It's the most favorable odd year schedule set up in a little while.
We just need to take care of the teams we should beat and we should be in contention for a playoff spot.

Who is the elite duo?
Emery + Lannister?

Agreed that 10-2 should be the baseline. You have to be 10-2 or 11-1... 11-1 with a loss at Bama should get you in the playoffs.
Early game at Texas scares me. Wouldn't be surprised if we are close dogs. All your other tough games are at home (Florida, Auburn, A&M). Need to sweep at home.

Goal is to win every game but realistic expectation is 1 loss to Bama.

That 2020 will be the year we really should be looking forward to when we can finally get some talent.

If Aranda stays 9-3
If Aranda leaves 7-5

It will depend on how the off-season shakes up but right now looking at it I don't see any reason why we should accept anything less than 11-1
And no, I don't consider that 1 a loss to Alabama. It's just insurance for an annual let-down game like Florida this year

Lots of bitching and moaning by the usual vaginas all off season

Minimum of 10-2 with only 1 conference loss.
