Well emery was a month into his sophomore year when Les was fired.
Etienne is a terrible Miss, but it’s not like he’s at Kansas like Pooka. Clemson won a championship when Etienne was a senior.

Etienne definitely a big miss. LSU just had others ahead of him but ended up losing out on those and Akers.
In reality though, Guice did pretty well last year so his opportunity at Clemson resulted in more playing time.
They definitely could have used him this year and next though.

I don’t think we missed when O was name interm he went after Etienne but LSU outstanding top management wouldn’t name a coach wanted to wait til after the season was over. Think about it, kid that is going to the NFL going to a school where you have no clue who the coach will be and what style of offense will be ran. Or go to a school with a national championship and I need of a running back. You know the style of offense Clemson runs. I think the whole process lost us Etienne! The way Alleva did things. Just my two worthless cents.
