It’s crazy the timing of this. As soon as its reported the rebels in Syria used chemical weapons in an attack in Aleppo, Ukraine launches a provocation that they know Russia will not tolerate to dominate the news cycle. The rebels used chlorine which is the same thing we accussed the Syrian government of doing in Douma when we launched over a hundred cruise missiles. All just a coincidence though.

We have supposedly offered them 2 Oliver Hazard Perry class frigates, but Ukraine as not accepted them. It took them 4 years to accept two island class coast guard cutters because the Ukrainian president owns the shipyard that is building their artillery boats.

I highly doubt Ukraine is stupid enough to declare war against Russia. None of the Europeans are going to come to their aid in any meaningful manner. They’ll use this as leverage to get more arms deals from the US and Europeans though.
