There is a legal way. None of them are doing it. If you from Honduras you apply at the US embassy. If you are a refugee (which they are not) you apply at a neighboring country. Honduras and the US don't share a border.

Wow the fricking lies

They are applying for asylum by breaking through Mexican boarders?

If they wanted to apply for for asylum why didnt they do that at the Mexican boarder? Does Mexico not have a US embassy?

You know it we all know it. They want to jump the border and live in the US illegally. Where did all the illegals in Arizona suddenly come from?

Is it really that far fetched to say there are that many criminals in these caravans?

Applying for asylum is perfectly legal. It does not negate that illegal entry is illegal. Whether they want to apply for affirmative or defensive asylum....illegal entry is a crime. This isn’t difficult stuff. Though, I’m not surprised you don’t understand it.

Once again, yes its illegal to travel through multiple countries to claim asylum in the US.

Funny thing is that some of those who came from Central America in the May 2018 caravan have been granted asylum in the U.S.

Zero relevance to your assertion they aren’t breaking any criminal laws. And please link to this assertion. For the first time you might actually bring something useful to the board. I’d love to knownon what basis asylum was granted.

You want so badly to come on here and (try to) show how smart you are (NOT) that you say stupid stuff without having any idea what you are talking about.

If you present yourself at the border and ask for asylum it is not an illegal entry. Try again.

Do you have a link where they showed up to Mexico a port of authority and officially and organized requested Asylum? Do you have a link to historical precedent that allows you to choose the country you want to see asylum in? Are you allowed to illegally travel through a few different countries before finally getting to one that you think you might want to live in? If they do show up to America in organized line at a port of entry in officially request Asylum fine. If they do not, will you admit that they are illegals and trespassing and by definition criminals? Or you continue to make excuses for some unknown reason.

Just admit it, you can't wait for a 15yo Honduran boy to bum-rush your butthole. That would explain your giddiness.

You think the U.S. would grant them asylum if they were. Another example with you having a problem with the concept of relevance. Not a good thing for a lawyer.

Did you assume that when I asserted that applying for asylum was legal that I not assuming that they presented themselves at a port of entry and officially apply for asylum?

Makes me wonder how many of our resident libs lock their doors at night and arm their alarm systems if everyone we don't understand doesn't have ill intentions and only wants to exemplify the best of human decency.

I don't know if it is or isn't. But what I do think is far-fetched is that these criminals are going to walk up to a U.S. port of entry and ask the U.S. for asylum.
