Pretty much accurate.

I love Les but his stubbornness and desire to stick to Michigan style I formation football did him in. The game passed him by.

So the great Les Miles was not in the top 50 in the country.

At Oklahoma State.

Listening to you people his teams are always top 10.

At LSU they were more often than they weren't.

No shame with some of yall.

So he was average at Oklahoma St.

But great at LSU.

So when he follows the GOAT (Saban)

Has the LSU brand, in a state like La (produces the most NFL talent per capita) and a budget like LSU he is great.

Comparing and contrasting those 2 situations, Miles is a very avg. coach that was extremely lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

We will see who is right. After miles goes around .500 for his career at KU.

No, I'm not ashamed to call out a coach who made 10s of Millions for what he is.

I know football, and from an Xs and Os level Miles is a High School coach at best.

You don't win 70%+ of your games in the SEC's golden era and be an average coach. It can't happen.

Mett could throw it yet we went 9-3 with Landry, Beckham, Blue, Hill, Diarse, and DeAngelo.

Saban didn't in 2004. The same talent that was supposedly what won the title for Miles in 2007.

They were freshmen and sophomores and some weren’t even on the team.

Really ..... so why did he recruit primarily RUNNING QB’s?!

Les’s problem was than instead of aimplifying the offense for college kids he just stopped throwing the ball if he didn’t have a QB who could do what he required him to do.

Lee has LSU undefeated until he threw an int at the Alabama game. Les used that to bench him...not sure he ever threw another pass.

He didn't, and that was his issue. He never committed to recruiting only one style of QB. For every Jefferson there was a Lee. He recuited Gunner Kiel, got Mett here, etc.

More than one.

Like it or not, LSU doesn't win that game if Jefferson doesn't play.

Now I'll agree, Les should have played Lee in the 2nd half of 1/9/12. That was simply him being stubborn.

And we got a coach who can't muster much of a offense 29-0

This is just a irresponsible statement and it's difficult to believe anyone is stupid enough to think this.

I pretty much agree. You have 2 coaches:

- This is our system, and we're gonna recruit the guys who fit that system to a tee

OR

- I'll take the best QB I can get and tweak the offense to fit his skill set.

I don't think he ever figured out which of the two he wanted to be, and it cost him.

Some tend to forget how much an effect Losing RP11 DUMBASS had on the program ...

JL had a pretty good senior year despite his struggles in his youth. But, aside from that we hadn't had a real threat at QB until mettenburger..

Burrow manages well and shows tremendous accuracy, but his receivers have not helped him statistically ...

I look forward to his return, and hope to see improvement from our young receivers, as well as significant improve in OL PLAY/DEPTH/HEALTH...

ADD A stud RB and this offense should be sigicantly better!!

he just didn't run a QB friendly system. Even Brandon Jennings could be a proficient QB if you ran the right plays at the right times in the right offense.

For the reasons I already stated, It can.

If he was not avg., he would have proved it at Oaky ST.

But he was .570 there.

However, had he followed Denardo, I believe he would have had similar results as he did at Oaky ST.

He will be able to prove who he is at KU.

I take it you believe he will do better than .500?

Not for 10 years, it can't. The law of averages won't allow that.

I get it, you hate Miles. But that doesn't make him an average coach. It just makes you bitter.

It often is if the only viable offense you can muster is on the ground.
