Truth

But arguing that UCF is one of the "best" four teams with a roster full of 2 star scrubs sure is odd

So you think based off of who UCF has played you can judge them versus any Power 5 team in the conversation and know there schedule measures up?

I think it’s pretty much impossible to compare two teams who haven’t played each other

Your analogy is off. Auburn beat Bama in what was a play-in game to the SEC Championship. Auburn lost to UCF in a disappointing bowl game that none of them wanted to be playing in.

If UCF played the schedule of an average SEC team, say South Carolina, would they be undefeated? Would they run the table against UGA, A&M, @UK, @Florida and @Clemson?

Look at what UCF did to Auburn last year. The same Auburn team that punked Alabama in their final regular season game.

If you watched that game, you could see how little Auburn cared. Also you conveniently left out what happened to Auburn in between Alabama and UCF.

So now we can judge team's level of passion with the eye test

And even if that were true - and you could never ever prove that it was - how is that UCF's fault?

Oh. Odd.

So how are they one of the "best" teams then... What metric are you using to determine this?

Come on man, for example Rice versus Alabama they haven't played each other is it impossible to compare them? Get out of here with this you cannot judge UCF comparatively to Power 5 teams.

I’m not saying they are one of the best four teams.

Arguing that they're not because they've been undefeated going on two seasons is even more odd.

When did this shite start? Does Saban know?

Alabama had the #1 recruiting class this year, so Mr. Perfect is ready to give them a spot in the 2021 playoff.

One of those scrubs from last year's team caught Drew Brees' record-breaking pass a few weeks ago.

Absolutely, Alabama versus the Citadel, you could tell with the eye test Alabama today was not as focused and played down to their competition in the first half. Ole Miss' defense this year, multiple games where they have flat out quit in the second half of games.

and you could never ever prove that it was

Not true, you absolutely can prove when teams play down and not with as much "passion" as you say.

how is that UCF's fault?

I would never say it is UCF's fault they are in the American, but its why they do not get the "respect" they think they deserve.

I get your argument, can you answer this just to gauge your feeling on their level of competition.

Do you think the American athletic conference is anywhere near the level of play as the Power 5?

Then you just answered your own question why is UCF's resume used against them.

and then team actually play and that gets ignored. "it'd be a different game of they played again"

So UCF was better than Bama last year?

Maybe. They never got a chance to prove it or not.

If college basketball was like football Loyola never makes the dance. You could easily say “You think Loyola could really beat K State”

Or Can Stony Brook really beat LSU in a Super at The Box.

Easy to say someone can’t do something when they have no opportunity due to a system that heavily favors a minority of teams.
