Evidence of Miles about to go to Kansas?

Well, hello. #LSU and Les Miles have settled the remaining buyout he's owed.

Was owed $6.5M but agreed to $1.5M lump sum?

He's going to be a HC soon so this is extra money in his pocket.

i dont understand why he would rather have 1.5 mil now instead of 6.5 mil by 2023

Thinking he actually might coach Kansas.

Wait wait wait. Joe Alleva negotiated a deal for LSU that was beneficial to us? WTF

But..but...but...I was told by the rant that Les Miles was a greedy piece of shite and was screwing the university over.
Good job Les and good luck moving forward!

If he takes it now, he negotiates a new contract from scratch. If for example, Kansas wants to pay him 1.5 million for 4 years for a total of 6 million, their contract would have reduced the amount LSU owed by an equal amount. This way, he gets the 1.5 from LSU plus whattever he can get from Kansas.

Why couldn't he have just changed the damn offense?

Looks like I'll be attending some KU games next season.

Good riddance.
He will fail spectacularly at Kansas if he takes the job.

Man wants to see that money go to benefiting LSU.
Les Miles is a true Tiger and will be one till he dies.

He wants to coach too. I wish him success. I just hope he and Hull don't snatch some Louisiana kids LSU wants.

We’ll see.
Kansas ain’t LSU.
He will actually have to win games based on his ability to outcoach other people while using inferior talent.
Good luck.

...under the condition that LSU splits it into 35 equal payments and run each straight at him in the exact same way.
