I've had dandruff my entire life until I started adding tree tea oil in my shampoo. It has entirely gone away, but it's negligible compared to what it used to be.

Keep using Head & Shoulders.
It doesn’t fix it overnight. You have to use it daily and masssage into scalp. It’ll stop it.

Stop using hair products.
Don’t wash your hair everyday. It will dry your scalp faster. Wash it every other day.

The same thing happened to me before. I had it for like a year. Then I got a sinus infection and the doctor gave me a z-pak antibiotic.
Cleared up my sinus infection and I also noticed my dandruff was gone.
Maybe I got some kind of scalp infection of some sort from getting a haircut and the clippers weren't properly sanitized?
I don't know... but the z-pak cleared it up.

I used to get dandruff in college when I'd use really cheap shampoo especially during the winter. I switched to Head and Shoulders and it cure it. Now that I'm married I just use my wife's Aveda shampoo and no problems.

This. Wash hair first and let shampoo sit, do not rinse. Proceed with rest of shower. After washing, rinse hair when you rinse body.
