The statement 'thoughts and prayers' is meaningless. It's like saying 'Bless you' after someone sneezes. I don't pray.
OK, if I have a 25 foot putt with an extreme downhill slope, I say a short prayer.

Do you ACTUALLY believe that Chris Matthews was advocating for a law prohibiting the use of the term “thoughts and prayers?”

Even if that is not exactly what Matthews meant there are scores of progressive liberals who would outlaw Christianity in a skinny minute if they could.

If you deny that you aren't being delusional, you would be straight up lying

Sure.

We live in a country where lawnmowers need warnings not to use them to try and trim hedges. Most people are fricking idiots.

There are just as many liberals who do not understand the Constitution as there are conservatives who do not understand the Constitution.

No one is arguing this truism.

DOUBLE THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS should be enough to stop the mass shootings. I pray we don’t ever need triple Ts and Ps.

You can offer your thoughts and prayers but don’t get mad if more and more of us begin to comment on how laughably hollow the entire charade is becoming.

You think it's hollow because you don't understand it.

Taking time out of my day to pray for people I don't know is a very meaningful gesture, especially from someone that has no other power to change the circumstances

Off topic but when I was a kid there was a guy that came to our church everybody called Amen Ray. One time he got beat to the punch so he followed up someone else’s amen with a double amen.

I have no doubt it is a meaningful gesture for you personally and gives you some measure of comfort.

I don’t think it did shite for the 13 people murdered in California.

I have no idea what you’re rambling about and frankly I don’t care. I commented on the OP. Start your own thread if you want to talk about black Jesus, whoever that is.

Nah, I’ve just decided I’m not going to spend time deciphering your inane ramblings and musings about the world.

Come on, Obama was CERTAINLY responsible for the California shootings. I would love to see Angelle explain the link.

Thoughts and prayers are bs code for we aren’t doing anything. Phony emptiness.

Thoughts and prayers for shooting victims. Better yet! Actually do something to ban the guns

no thoughts and prayers are allowed UNLESS you ban guns. then they will still want to ban thoughts and prayers anyway as they pray to Michelle Obama and Mother Tranny goddess.

It really is pathological her obsession wth the Obamas. Read that quoted part again in context of the OP and tell me that’s not insane rambling nonsense.
