First, my condolences for her loss.

Second, I have good news. Many countries around the world have the gun control she wants, and some allow emigration. So she can be living in a gun controlled environment within weeks.

This is one time I agree with you and not with Tittle.

I’m sorry for your loss but we aren’t going to implement something that isn’t going to be effective at stopping murders just because you’re in an emotional state.

Had gun control been in effect this guy wouldn’t have given a damn. We can have all of the barriers in place regarding mental health, background checks, certain gun bans etc. but at the end of the day someone who is evil and wants to kill can and will find a way. We’re never going to rid the world of evil.

An irrational response is understandable given her relation to the victim however if her son had been killed by a drunk driver I doubt she would be demanding alcohol

Haven't you ever heard of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD)?

Well the criminals will be armed regardless of any stupid gun control law but had just one of the good guys been armed it might have turned out totally different than it did. This does not take much thought to figure out.

No, what we need is mental health control. And, she may be a candidate.

The magazines the guy used were illegal if I understand correctly. Anyone ever figure out why this loon did this?

Apparently to prove that we need more gun control and less "thoughts and prayers."

Very true! So, she should not be politicizing her loss trying to take away my rights, that Shall Not Be Infringed.

Her feelings aren't justification to infringe on my rights.

I have never, and will never accept emotion as justification for legal change. Especially for something as important as a civil right.

I won't shite on her, but she doesn't get a free pass to politicize her son's death.

Retroactive Darwin award.

Funny how when an illegal kills someone the left is silent in the issue of illegal aliens, but when someone is shot they are tripping over themselves to repeal the second amendment.

If you want to have a rational discussion on a policy topic,

don't try and have it with a mother who just lost her child.

I'll give her a pass. She just had her child killed.

Any one of you would look the same if you suddenly lost a child.

I imagine I would be a basket case and look much worse. I would think that I would not be looking for the closest TV camera to push a political agenda or try to preemptively shout down those who might offer thoughts and prayers. I wouldn't want to trade places with her, though, and I suppose I can't really put myself in her shoes either.
