Conservatives nominated and elected a reality tv Twitter troll. Outside of those who felt scared or angry of losing the country, he just isn't all that appealing. Young people embrace change...so his intoxicating message of fear and division doesn't work quite as well.

I posted this in another thread. A friend of mine is from Texas and lives in Texas. He very much dislikes Cruz but only voted for him because he isn’t some socialist parasite. Cruz is very unlikeable and not nearly as popular as tv and radio personalities make him out to be in Texas

Which is odd because he's one of the most conservative people in the Senate. Is he looking to make friends with the candidate or elect someone that will vote like he wants?

Never really understood the Cruz hate. He's a sharp guy and discusses issues. I guess he's not hip, like ole Beto.
