I've never understood the "likeable" factor. This isn't a 9th grade popularity contest. All I care about is his stance on the issues and Cruz is solid to me.

He thinks Cruz is not as conservative as he portrays and very much dislikes the fact that Cruz ran for president while still being a first term senator. He thinks he didn’t do enough for Texas but rather did everything for himself.

Hell, I voted for Cruz in the Republican primary after Rand Paul dropped out. He was the 2nd best candidate in the presidential race to me.

I have a niece who just graduated high school who was a big Bernie supporter. When I engaged her in conversation regarding her support, her reasoning was, “He seems like a nice old man.” I lost all hope in the future at that point.
