I mean there’s no doubt the injuries have robbed him of some of his explosiveness but that’s fine, we don’t need him to be that guy anymore, just needs to be enough of a threat to alleviate some pressure from Thomas.

I’m still curious on what exactly happened with Meredith, I thought he’d perform in this offense.

He was still Dallas’s top target last year and does not need to be a 1 here

At 30, I would also assume he’s play with a chip to try and get one last contract too

Meredith’s knee injury was pretty severe, he may not be the same until next season if at all

And dez averaged 2.4 yards of separation last season. For reference Deandre Hopkins, Cooks and Alshon are at 2.4 yards of separation this year and that number would be better than guys like AJ Green, Josh Gordon, Mike Evans, TY Hilton

Dak prescott is so fricking bad, I would throw everything dez did with him out the window

That and a lot of teams wanted him, but he spurned the Browns and the Ravens, maybe more that we don’t know about, in order to find a situation like us, a contender that also gets to play the Cowboys in Jerry World

Saints have scored 40+ in 4/8 games so far

09 team did it in 4/16

11 team did it in 7/16

They are pretty close to that 11 offense which is the best in team history, just lacking the opportunistic plays from the defense. Dez could potentially put this offense over the 2011 team if things click.

You fricking guys are getting me all hyped up at 12:30 in the morning.

Dez on one side, MT on the other, who you gonna double team? If you play 2 over the top, the middle opens up for Kamara and Watson...…..

Which softens everything up for MI…

Hope this is true.

09 though those points came a lot quicker and teams were put in a hole fast in the first quarter and their game plan was toast, then the turnovers started coming

There are signs over the last couple of weeks that the Defense is starting to become more capable of taking the ball away. Especially when the other team starts to press. Anzalone’s pick against the Rams was a great play. And the week before, he and PJ forced that fumble. To your point, I think that adding Dez allows the offense to play with their foot on the gas out of the gate. The D can start to feast on opponents that are trying to hang in a shootout. Then Ingram takes over in the 4th.

Dez will go over 100 in the Dallas game, and it will be glorious to watch.
