That’s because Denver gets there and gets demolished most of the time.

Imagine 2013.
Auburn loses in final seconds to FSU.
Denver gets destroyed by Seattle.
TTsTowel cries.

It was like going from the mountain top to the cellar of rock bottom.

I'll go ahead and call it.
This is the worst Raider team in over a decade, which is saying something.
I cannot think of a season when the expectations and results were this different. Maybe 2003, when the team went from a Superbowl loss to 4-12?
From 12-4 to 6-10 to 1-15... sheesh.

Does it matter?
This is going to almost guarantee Nick Bosa.
If you traded Mack for two firsts and end up with 5 years of Bosa on a rookie deal to build around, hard to argue that isn't better than giving Mack 23.5m a year.
If you're gonna be bad, don't frick around and win like 6 or 7 games and frick your draft pick, just tank.

The NFL is weird.
It takes no time to go from extremely bad to extremely good, and likewise.
Take Oakland from 2016-present.
Take Denver from 2015-present.
Denver has now gone from Super Bowl champs, to 9 wins, to 5 wins, and they are now sitting at 3-5.

Wow
The 49’ers seem like they’re averaging 8 yards a carry

Why'd they go for that? They haven't cared all night so just punt.

Nothing like a Thursday night national showcase to show the world how much you suck

This interview with practice squad qb and Erin Andrews is cringe worth. His voice is cracking and he is crying
