The situation is surreal. See my previous post in the thread.

And how many years have we been talking about this? And nothing has changed.

That's even more surreal.

There's not much serious left to be said.

State of LA Dept. of Revenue can audit him for State Income Tax Evasion if he has not paid Tax on this “Bag Money” if it has been deposited into his bank account....if this is the case...they can refer him to the IRS for federal income tax evasion...too/as well.

..if they discover other felonies, like wire or bank fraud, he can be referred to a Federal Prosecutor or LA Attorney General...there are attorneys that read this web site or posters who are politically connected...those people need to start submitting complaints in writing to the Gov. of LA or the LA Dept. Of Rvenue or LA Attorney General to open an investigation/tax case/audit/investigation...

If the IRS and/ LA Dept. of Revenue stick a microscope up this guy’s arse and/ or he is indicted for other felonies (wire or bank fraud), that will shut this shite down and put him “out of business” - both hair cutting and acting as a front/bag man...it can be done!!!!

No way these guys are dumb enough to wire or deposit those funds. He has a cash rich business. Guy X walks in and gets a haircut and just so happens to leave a $20,000 tip. You think anyone is saying anything about that. Owner takes $5,000 and passes the other $15,000 along to the player or players. It’s pretty easy honestly. How you track it is damn near impossible. Random Guy Y walks in they aren’t doing jack about it. If he’s raided and has $100,000 in a safe he can just say it’s petty cash and tips that he’s held on to. And yes, there are absolutely barbers that make $100,000+ a year in cash.

Most people don’t have the discipline or intelligence not to eventually deposit some or all of the cash in their bank account - this is how auditors catch many people - the Auditors ask “where did this cash deposit come from?” If they don’t have a sales receipt or can’t trace the transaction by paper trail, then the cash is classified as earned income that has not been taxed - thus, income tax evasion

I don’t think so either and I’m not an attorney - but, once the cash is deposited buy the barber, if it is wired after the fact...any portion thereof, it might still be a felony/bank fraud

Kids and parents.

Until you stop thinking that you need people like this to get noticed, you will continue to get taken advantage of.

Just like with personal trainers, journalists, 7 on 7 coaches, etc.

Tiny Rick:

Barbers making $100K in cash might be true. But what is being reported to taxing authorities. Tip Income is required to be reported. So a possible Tax evasion audit by the LA. Department of Revenue might be warranted in this case.
