Funny story about my wife and this week's game...

My wife couldn't care less about college football. But she knows how much the Tigahs mean to me so she tolerates my obsession with all things LSU this time of year. She knows about the Rant and even thinks the look-a-like threads are sometimes funny. The only real common ground is that we're both animal lovers so she likes Mike.
She didn't grow up in a sports-minded family, and she went to MTSU so she never had a reason to follow college football. She never watches any of the games with me - not even LSU games - and she feels compelled to ask me who won the next day (assuming she couldn't already tell by the shouts and screams emanating through the ceiling). When the opportunity arises, she likes to attend games with me but only for the purpose of going somewhere. The trip to Lambeau was predicated on a weekend in Chicago and the '16 Bama game included a weekend in N.O.
When I told her yesterday that I had decided to go to the game this Saturday, she said, "That's fine, I know you want to go. But you have to promise me one thing: While you're there, if one of those Gumps says something to you, you have to promise me you won't say anything back or get into it with any of 'em."
I looked at her with a laugh and said: "Where did you get that word?"
She goes, "I listen to you more than you think. How could I not?"

Your wife is going to cheat on you while you’re gone.

Women always know. Even if you think they don't, they do.

Bruh, I am in complete lockstep with you on this. My situation with my wife and LSU football is the exact same. They know what this weekend means.
