Anyone else like cracking their knuckles or joints? I think I've been doing it so long that I find myself doing it automatically. Anyone know if cracking joints related is to arthritis?

Yeah I try not to as much as I use to. Apparently it does and doesnt cause arthritis.

Doesn’t hurt as long as you’re not doing something crazy like twisting your head around unnaturally. No effect on arthritis.

I started really cracking knuckles when I started playing guitar around 15 years ago, and now it's automatic and I do it a lot, it's a little OOC. I also crack a lot of other joints. Each finger is good for about 3 cracks, crack my palms, shoulder, neck on both sides, upper back, lower back, knees sometimes, ankles, toes.
I try to limit it when I'm in front of others, but I still find myself cracking fingers and my neck.

Hell no.
Step on a crack
Break your mama’s back.

I can crack my neck pretty good. I can get like seven snaps out of it. Can freak people out.

Some fella cracked every knuckle on every finger in just one hand once a day for decades and not the other to test the theory.
He reported no pains/aches in said hand and I think had an X-ray of that hand it it looked just like the other. So there’s that.

I crack my knuckles a lot. Don't even think about it. Kind of feel like I need to to release pressure. Also, my wrists pop whenever I rotate them fully. Occasionally even my hips and knees pop. I think I just have creaky joints. Seem like I always have.
I don't think it causes arthritis. I think that's just one of those myths. Though I expect that if I live long enough that arthritis issues are probably in the cards. I know my grandparents suffered really badly with it.

Yeah I do it pretty frequently myself, and once you do it it's not easy to stop. I feel like I have to crack my knuckles specifically, and I can do it by just moving my fingers. My friend has to crack his back, and he'll get random people to stand on his back to crack it. As for the arthritis theory lol let's just hope it's not true, otherwise I'm fricked.

I like to crack knuckles and also my neck and back. I used to do it frequently, but forced myself to break that habit because I just don't think it can be all that good for you to be twisting my head around, etc.

I crack any and every part of my body that I can, jaw, knuckles, ankles, wrist, back, etc.

Whip it!
Edit: Also, you have never felt so free until you've cracked your sternum.

No I haven't, but I'm very interested in how that started lol.

I don't remember how I did it the first time, but basically pull your arms up behind your shoulders and you might hit it. It's not 100% guaranteed, but it works a few times a year.

That's crazy dude.....yeah I get you I have to pop my joints too and it's freeing lol. Everyone seems to have something they need to pop. My friend can pop his toes...and even his nose lol.

I was swimming so much as to shame a dolphin the first time I did it, I think. The first time you do it, it feels like you've grown a new part of your body.
I pop every connective joint on my body ever since trying to get that feel back.

It exacerbates joint paint, actually. Horrible habit.
I do crack my neck somewhat regularly and can do it by just flexing neck muscles(I am pretty swole)

Hold some bubble wrap in one hand behind your head, then pretend to crack your neck and pop the bubble wrap. People really freak out.

Knuckles only crack when facing baws at Arby's....
Now, finding the right chair back to crack my back, that's where the moneys at. An instant release of pressure. Feels amazing.
