It's solid. Never saw the second. The remake with Colin Farrell was actually pretty solid and is underrated I think.

Really? I was kinda excited about 2011 remake, and then was just soooooooooooo disappointed. The format, vibe, McLovin just wasn't jelling with me. Rockstar version of Peter Vincent wasn't really working either, IMO. Everything was off about it.

Not to mention the cheapest CGI crap. Whole thing was just cheap laptop generated CGI. So you can mark me down in the hater column for that movie.

I recommend to see the 2nd movie. It won't be as fast-paced and organic as the 1st, but it will still have some very spooky moments, great soundtrack and main characters will be back, most importantly(minus Evil who I think never got resurrected because FN3 didn't come out).
That NATO training in full force.

Meanwhile in Russia:

Any Fright Night fans here?

I absolutely love original Fright Night (1985) and grew up watching and rewatching it as a kid. Vampire next door neighbor is just such a spooky idea.

About couple of years ago I actually found out there was Part 2 made in 1988 and even though it was not nearly as epic as the first one, I still enjoyed it the hell out of it. There's just something about movie resolution, soundtrack and general vibe that I just dig. No CGI and all that crap we get today- all props and actual stunts. That's what a horror movie should be.

Sadly, we did not get Part 3 that was set for 1989 because the Menendez brothers killed their parents, i.e. Jose Menendez who was going to fund the 3rd movie with Tom Holland and Roddy McDowall(Peter Vincent) already on board. After the Menendez murder, that fell apart and Roddy died in 1998, having never given us another Peter Vincent performance.

CLASSIC

GREAT CLOSURE/TRIBUTE to 1st movie

NEVER MEANT TO BE :wah:

I always thought it was funny that Dunder Mifflin Scranton Branch looked like a bunch of bumbling idiots to corporate.

Dunder Mifflin corporate were portrayed as upscale educated individuals, yet they were the ones that tanked the company and Dunder Mifflin Scranton was the only successful thing about the whole company

Common theme in corporations. Out of touch board vs on the ground operation. Real companies go down for that very reason.

Yes with no Jack Sparrow.

The POTC should have ended in trilogy. How often do you get a successful trilogy in movies business...but no, they had to ruin it with bloated and aged Johnny Depp who was on painkillers in divorce battle and just straight out of talent and didn't even look like original Jack Sparrow. Damn shame.

No, POTC 5 killed the franchise. 4 was something we wanted but didn't really need and I was ok with 4, it was still fun. 5 was absolute trash and put a nasty stank on the whole franchise.
These two are damn near identical, although with the edge going to Evans in the looks department. Setting aside that Evans became more of a star due to Captain America success do you think he could play a more stern/opportunistic character in James Norrington?

Do we event want to be aligned with the cess pool that is Brazil?

I live in South Florida, and believe me when I tell you this, Brazilians integrate soooooooooooo soooooo much better than Hispanics. Yes, they have some aunthentic baboons there too, but when they arrive here they don't congregate into ghettos and perpetuate crime.

Good part of Brazil, at least the wealthy one associate more with being European than they are Latin. Whole South America is Latin, except Brazil and Argentina, so it does make them stand out.

Some autistic explanation that it was an experiment in thought

All the kids he tells to wash their dicks ate it up. Not surprising, he’s a con, and they’re marks

Yes, I watched it and agree with your assessment of his explanation. He really couldn't come up with a valid reasoning how Kavanaugh resigning would be a good thing and how it wouldn't embolden more future false allegations destroying people's careers.

I don't know, he may be more of a centrist, but in today's society thanks to the left's degeneracy, center somehow became right wing.

Maybe he's like a Jeff Flake type conservative....

I'll say this though, I don't like one bit that Bushes were so much behind Kavanaugh. They really groomed him, which isn't a great thing at all. Still better than any activists justices by the left, but he was not the best choice. Really shows that Bushes still have some pull with Trump making him nominate BK. It's a little concerning, but could be just politics.

Touche. He's cucked himself here big time. Did he give any decent reason as to why? It better have a damn good explanation.

Here's his explanation. He rants for 10 minutes and basically says he had a brain fart, due to Twitter format and that his idea was just a suggestion and not the best idea. Some serious backtracking, boy. He said he twitted at 2am yada yada.

Hey how ya doing, Jordan?

It would take him 15 minutes to respond

You're being a little harsh. I think he's a good spokesperson for the right.

His speech on neo-modernism and progressive movements is very nuanced and I like listening him debate NPC commentators(it's almost unfair).
10 year business cycle. It should be a big correction, but IMO, the Trump effect will delay a full blown recession until 2020 if he loses in 2020 (somehow).

I think we've got another 6 months to go before the losses turn into recession, if they in fact continue.

It is not guaranteed to have value...

Right, because historically precious metals became worthless like paper currencies. Oh wait, is it the other way around?

PL, Gold and Silver have been used in jewelry for thousands of years and as currency and backed US economy at one point(see why Fed did away with it-has to do with inflation and desire to grow debt).

In more utilitarian uses it's a great top notch conductor of electricity. So it can't be worthless unless there's an solar flare EMP, in which case it will skyrocket in price because it will be used as currency that is impossible to counterfeit.

Is that enough for you? I could go on.

What sort of scenario do you imagine where precious metals don't have value?

He doesn't. Just talking out of his arse and disliking my posts.
@CJ35,

Good that you made it. They caught it early then.
How were you diagnosed?

I don't talk to cops and always ask for an attorney if I was ever detained. Highly recommended advice by every attorney worth their salt.

This is a hypothetical, mate. One has to have a terminal cancer and abilities for this scenario to even be concerning. You're not being realistic, Andrew Jackson used to shoot people he disagreed with. Dueling was a way to settle disputes and insults. Nowadays, we've gotten soft and cushy, but violence is still in most people's DNA. Let's be honest, there are some pesky people in this world that probably would make everyone better off if they weren't here.
I like the responses here, gave likes to every critical post here, btw.

And yes, you don't want to get stuck in a situation where you turn into Heisenberg but then your cancer is benign and you've got yourself a wrap sheet for several life sentences.

Those damn Russians meme'd us on Facebook. It was an attack on Democracy itself. Hurr durr
quote:

ou do realize that Russians are all over the internet constantly creating chaos in the United States right? Recently it was found that a lot of the people complaining about social justice Warriors and Star Wars were Russian accounts. They do want to create a divide between us any way possible. We've known this since the 60s I don't know why anybody is surprised.

You're showing signs of prolonged exposure to CNN, sir. Need to lie down and relax.

On a serious note, you don't think we've got enough talking heads on TV creating division and derision of one another. I think media is most responsible for this. You have Fox demonizing the left(rightfully so as of recently) and you got the CNNs, MSNBCs, NBC, WaPos, NY Times constantly non-stop demonizing Trump and his supporters. You don't need Russian for that. The "1st Amendment" of propaganda and diversion is doing that for them. US corporate media networks should probably be somehow regulated to prevent the kind of things that are happening, but they're hiding behind 1st amendment.
