Are you referring to Etienne? We still should have been on him much earlier.. As long as you put the full press on your most talented state kids and he goes elsewhere.. then that's fine.. but I'm pretty sure Etienne specifically wanted more attention from LSU. I think had made some comments at one point.

As far as Akers, many said it would be hard to pull a Mississippi 5 star to come to LSU.. I don't fault LSU for trying, but I would have preferred making Etienne more of a priority over him.

I’d just like to put myself on record saying Etienne was better than Akers all along and we were making a mistake not making him priority . Tommy Robinson really effed up .

I don't know if he regrets it or not. I wonder if Fournette regrets going to LSU? He would have won a Heisman and a national championship at Alabama.

Maybe Fournette just loved LSU and doesn't regret his decision. Maybe Akers feels that way about FSU.

Etienne said he was never a college football or LSU fan growing up. He preferred being outside riding horses.

Most overrated 5 Star back I’ve seen. Brings literally nothing special to the position.

I think CEH will have a better career than both those guys. He reminds me of Heisman trophy winner Barry Sanders. Just wait ‘til his junior year with the olinemen we’ve got coming.

I'm not saying he's not physically gifted but he's not the burner I thought he was and he has poor vision. He hasn't went over 100 yds once this season.

BS!. They can leave after they graduate (As many LSU Grads do) or go play in the NFL.

You play football at LSU if you're a Top Ten Louisiana high school football player.

One of the reasons.. and a big one was that people on this board and our local media were so negative on Orgeron that they allowed our opponents to use Orgeron as a joke and Orgeron as a short timer to sway several key recruits... Akers...Mathis.. Surtain The constant attacks on Miles ruined our recruiting in 2014 and 2015. Orgeron began the turnaround in the face of over the top negatives and personal attacks on him and Sullivan and Ensminger and McMahon. A good share of the local media was still picking us 7 and 5 and 8 and 4 after the Florida game. After we beat UGA we still had a fair amount predicting losses to Miss St Bama and Texas AM. Orgeron has proved t,be far better at roster management and recruiting to fit than Miles. Anyway Akers could and probably should transfer. Jimbo Fisher left Florida StAte in complete disarray

FSU looks like shite and he's just asking if he regrets the decision to go to FSU over LSU is all. I bet he does wish he was playing for the tigers, him and marvin wilson. Those better have been some killer chicken fingers lol.

Wilson is the one that really stands out. O recruited him hard. Chaisson was pushing for him and Wilson even had family that were big LSU fans. Everything seemed to be lining up right and Jimbo pulls him to FSU (the honey chicken incident).

Akers never seemed a sure thing. Marvin led us on.

Akers is playing poorly in his own right, missed passes, needless bravado penalty, arguing with is own lineman. Basically, he is not a big loss.
