Vikings LB Anthony Barr, G Tom Compton, RB Dalvin Cook, and S Andrew Sendejo all ruled out of Sunday's game against the Saints. Xavier Rhodes and Linval Joseph are questionable. Riley Reiff is doubtful. Everson Griffen is no longer on the injury report, a sign he'll return.

Even if Griffen comes back, Rhodes, Cook, Barr, and Sendejo being out is huge news.

ETA: Rhodes ruled in for today's game. Interesting considering it sounded like he was limping around all game. Have to Think Thomas exploits that.

Damn. That is huge news. Kind of reminds me of our shitty injury luck the last few years.

I had a pretty good feeling even before I saw this. Just need our O-Line & run defense to keep rolling. I really like our chances.

Riley Reiff (starting LT) probably not playing is huge. They're probably going to have to start a rookie, Brian O'Neal, at LT. Since Tom Compton (starting LG) is also out...they're starting Danny Isadora (1 career start) at LG. We should be able to exploit the left side of their O-Line.

They basically only have 1 RB (Latavius Murray) for Sunday night. Cook is out, Jerrick McKinnon (damn good passing catching RB) left in free agency, & their #3/#4 RB's basically never even play. They better hope Latavius Murray doesn't get hurt.

Eric Wilson or DeVante Downs will replace Anthony Barr at SLB. Neither of them really ever play besides special teams. Their starting WLB (Ben Gedeon) comes off the field when they run nickel, so without Barr...Eric Kendricks will be the only LB worth a shite (in pass coverage) when they run nickel. They might even be forced to play 1 LB (Kendricks) & 6 DB's in passing situations.

If Everson Griffin does play...hopefully he's a little rusty from chilling on the couch. Stephen Weatherly (2 sacks in 7 games this year) will start if Griffin doesn't play.

If I had to choose between Linval Joseph & Xavier Rhodes...I'd rather Joseph not play. His backup at DT isn't anything special. Jaleel Johnson would get the start.

Even if Xavier Rhodes plays...he's still not 100%. They actually have pretty good backup CB's as well. Mackensie Alexander & Holton Hill. They even have Mike Hughes on IR. I've never seen a team draft so many top flight CB prospects. Trae Waynes is their other starting CB & he's been playing good lately.

With Andrew Sendejo (starting SS) out...they rotate 3 backup Safeties. George Iloka, Jayrone Kearse, & Anthony Harris.

Besides DB's, their depth isn't shite compared to ours. We basically caught them at the perfect time. If we meet them in the playoffs...it should be a much different team than we play this Sunday.

They should just announce when Dalvin Cook is going to play, itd be easier than letting everyone know every single week that he isnt going to play.

Teams like the Vikings and Falcons benefitted by being two of the most healthiest teams in the league. Outside of Cook, the Vikings didn’t have a major injury all year. Same with the Falcons.

At least the Eagles lost Wentz and Peters last year.

Very excited for this game. I think them not having Barr really hurts them as well I remember him all over the field last year.

I never believe saints exploit a weak DL.

Been waiting a damn decade for that to happen.

Doesn't really matter. Their defense is a shell. They ain't stopping us. Brees took their cookie in the 2nd half of that playoff game and they never recovered. This game is a matter of how well our defense holds.

I think I'd rather they play a gimpy Rhodes instead of someone healthy.

My worry is if they played up his limp to lull us into false confidence. Yes crazy conspiracy theory shite but teams do go to extremes at times to get an advantage, especially if they are getting desperate.

Joseph in or out worries me a bit. He could wreck our run game and force us to pass more than we'd like.

Barr is big for them stuffing the run and he’s out. I fully believe we’ll expose their secondary even with Rhodes playing. I think we wreck them
