Just thought I'd give a heads up to those that were interested, but didn't want to download the show. Highly recommend it, really entertaining, and the first 20 minutes or so of the show are intense AF.

quote:

The series is set around the fictional character of Police Sergeant David Budd, a heroic British Army war-veteran suffering from PTSD, who is now working as a specialist protection officer for the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of London's Metropolitan Police Service. He is assigned to protect the ambitious Home Secretary Julia Montague, whose politics stand for everything he despises.

I was about to do a Peaky Blinders rewatch this week but this has caught my interest instead. Definitely gonna check it out.

Had no idea what it was but I fell victim to the auto start trailer yet again. Halfway into episode 2, and really enjoy it so far.

Just finished it. Thought it was awesome. The last two episodes were intense, especially the defusing. Having 6 episodes helped so much to keep things from getting campy like US shows. Took a little while to get used to Robb Stark’s scot accent but the rest were fine. Oh, and the ex-wife is Ada Shelby on PB.

Read this thread and started watching tonight. I like it so far. On E3 already.

I dunno what it is but I love the English older women with some class. My first wife was British but a total bitch. Still yet, I love the type the Secretary of whatever is playing.
