I assume you mean Ritter....oddly enough he still works for the SEC, as a replay official in Birmingham. He was in the booth for the confirmation of the targeting on White.

we need to demand a NON SEC crew or withdraw from playing the game. That would definitely show this is real and we are not playing games. It would embarrass the hell out of the SEC offices and draw huge amounts of national attention. We have to keep the lights shining on these rats.

incorrect. Ritter is the coordinator for officials in the Gulf South Conference as of 2017 (LINK ). Ritter is also a Nashville native and went to Vanderbilt. Steve Shaw is the coordinator of officials in the SEC, along with Ben Oldham the head replay official. Oldham went to Georgetown for undergrad and Kentucky for his doctorate.

Ritter was a replay official for one year, in 2016.

Steve Shaw is not a replay official, and is not allowed to communicate with them during the games.

upon further review, you're correct. Ben Oldham is the head replay official LINK

And for all you LSU conspiracy theory folks...
quote:

After graduating from Georgetown College with a physics degree and minor in mathematics, Oldham earned a Doctorate from the University of Kentucky with an emphasis on educational measurement. He has held several positions at Georgetown College, including professor, Dean of Education, Director of Athletics and most recently, Associate Vice President of Academic Programs.

Now that is one of the stupidest things written today. You're really going all out on LSU refusing to play this game.

No doubt it would draw huge amounts of national attention. But I believe that LSU wouldn't want some of it. Especially after the way Alleva handled the Florida game fiasco last year after Hurricane Matthew postponed the game. Some of the national media painted Alleva and LSU in a bad light after the way that situation was handled.

The SEC offices wouldn't be the only one embarrassed if LSU refused to play the game. I think LSU would receive it's fair share of embarrassment as well.

It would garner more negative attention to Alleva. But conversation of Alleva talking with the ACC would go a long way.

How long can LSU take being told to bend over and lube up each and every year by the SEC when playing Bama?
