It's paradoxical that some people dont trust the government to get anything right except in determining a person's guilt or innocence.

20 years, 20 months, 20 days, 20 seconds...doesn't matter. The anxiety one feels the night before, the day of, and the walk down the hall is unfathomable.

not sure exactly what you are saying, but "law abiding" disqualifies all cops in the country.

Unfortunately we have no foolproof way of separating innocence from guilt 100% of the time.

This is the part that needs worked on. If we can't 100% garuntee someone is guilty, then they should not be sentenced to death.

But the ones we know are 100% are guilty are given a week to get their things in order, and no appeal or "technicalities". Ie if you are on video killing/raping/or whatever is deemed death penalty worth, then done and done. Quick review to make sure all legit, judgment passed, and one week later...asta la vista baby

If we cant get this right then no point in talking about getting other parts right.

At the time, Death Penalty Information Center Executive Director Robert Dunham suggested that fentanyl was a strange choice for an execution drug.
"It's somewhat ironic that at the same time that the Justice Department and states are talking about how dangerous fentanyl is and how it's created a national public health emergency that states are now turning to it as a supposedly safe way of killing prisoners," Dunham said.

Duh.... Its talked about as "creating a public health emergency" because its powerful and killing people! Two solid reasons it should be considered for executions!
It's basically heroin, really too easy of a way for these death row monsters to go. IMO
