I felt thoroughly entertained yesterday.
But maybe I shouldn't have felt that way.

I can agree that Alabama's continuous winning is pretty boring.
but since the field is so crappy, that is why I'm having a tough time watching it.
There are too many big name programs who are currently hot garbage.

But, it does feel like there are 3-5 loaded teams, then everyone else
There's not even 3-5 this year. It's bama, maybe Clemson and that's it. UM, ND, LSU, these are mediocre teams at the top of the polls. This lsu team can't hold a candle to most of Les Miles teams.

I think it's pretty exciting right now with teams like Texas, Michigan, and Washington State still being alive for the playoffs. Other than Alabama and Clemson, I think we'll have two teams appearing in the playoffs for the first time.

National interest is indeed dying.
People are turned off, I hear it all the time. Same ol' shite and teams.
First the SEC killed college football nationally with all that SEC! SEC! shite and year after year BCS titles and then Bama killed it in the SEC with running roughshod over a Conference that once had parity. Now it's one team and a bunch of shitty teams with one or two exceptions every blue moon.
You wanted to own college football SEC. Well you got it, you ruined it and made it a sport for one Conference and then your greed got the better of you and Bama ruined it for you. Oh, the irony of it. The SEC got SEC'd by Bama.
Bet your not chanting SEC! SEC! anymore every time Bama wins it.
A fun and national parity sport for all schools and regions of this country has now become boring, predictable, insufferable and you talk to people and they don't give a frick anymore.
They say the playoffs and BCS ruined it as all anyone started caring about and Bama is just going to win it, my Alma mater has no shot so why fricking watch the games of a contrived made up rigged system where a secret committee has taken the joy out of just playing and winning by secret votes and a secret criteria and made it all about what happens at the end.

Should give up college football for the NFL, but wait how many years in a row have the Patriots been in the Super Bowl? Maybe the NBA? Nope because GSW is a dynasty. You can go MLB? Welp that’ll disappoint you too with back to back years of Dodgers in the World Series.

Purdue running all over the Buckeyes wasn't boring. Army-Miami U might've been the most exciting game yesterday. Even Arizona-UCLA was fun to end the night.
I don't understand why people allow Bama and the playoff to spoil everything for them.

I am more bored with all sports but that is a function of getting old.
If you are conscious of the constant "whoa this is such a BIG GAME" hype you realize you are being led by the nose by marketing just like women are compelled to go to the mall (or online) to shop for more shoes.

Here's the fun part about OSU losing. Because Bama has such a huge lead in the polls (yes, because they are just dominating the field), they can lose to LSU, and still be in the driver's seat for the playoff without even controlling their destiny for the SECCG.

Yep. Which is a problem.

Yet they have the best shot to beat Bama more than any other team,,,,,

I don’t watch as much as I used to. College football has lost a lot of its unpredictability. Purdue over Ohio St. last night was great but there seems to be a lot less of that over the years. And it’s always the same teams. I mean does anybody want to see Clemson play Alabama again in the playoff?

How can you not love it?

I prefer watching NFL matches. College football matches tend to take too long and there are too many one sided matches.
