Sounds like y’all have a doe problem.

It’s been slow here this morning. It’s not often that something doesn’t cross this pipeline by now.

Ladder near a bottom
Rained on all morning, no rain gear.
Walked back to the truck at 830 soaked and ready to leave, and it stopped right when I got to the truck. Put on rain coat and got back on stand.
Heard 5 shots this morning already.

Yessir! Missed the heart and liver to boot!

The wife is due 11/10 so this is likely my last chance to bow hunt. Stoked to put some meat in the freezer.

You know you don’t have to stop hunting with your bow just because the state allows you to hunt with a rifle, right?

Hah. Yeah I know. Duck season opens next weekend so between that and the baby I probably won't deer hunt again this year.
