Nimrata “Nikki” Haley?

Nickname serve many purposes, one of which is helping a person “fit in.” In South Carolina, I have no doubt that “Nikki” serves that purpose better than “Nimrata.” in El Paso, the same is true for a person named Robert to use the familiar form of Roberto .

Not he affiliation. Jindal ran as “Bobby Jindal”. Not “Bobby”. Robert Francis has branded himself as “Beto”. His last name is nowhere to be found on his campaign collateral. He does everything he can to hide it. Huuuge difference.

Making your name more Spanish while still in America is another.
