I bet #2 is getting destroyed by UGA fans. Joe embarrassed him.

I’ll give you one guess why most people didn’t think he could run

His father coaches at Ohio University not Miami of Ohio. Joe was mainly recruited by Tom Herman, Luke Fickel and Kerri Combs more so than Meyer.

Ab out 4.5 I would guess

So Burrow is almost a tenth of a second faster than Alvin Kamara, who ran a 4.59 and a 4.56 at the combine. People have such skewed view of 40 times it’s incredible

I wonder how much shite the DB who got faked out of his helmet by Burrow will get during film study. Made him look foolish.

Also, great block by Terrace Marshall on that play. He's starting to remind me of Michael Clayton.

To be fair a 4.7 40 isn't that bad

That is way above average for a QB. Cam Newton ran a 4.6.

If he was just a hair faster he would be really dangerous on those keepers

I like the fact that he does keep it from time to time. We ran zone read with guys like Brandon Harris who rarely ever kept it.

And when he keeps, he doesn't run out of bounds.

He isn't explosive but he has long speed, due to his long legs. Id say he is a 4.76-4.80

People were saying this for months that he was a DT but that’s a scary word around these parts.

Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers and Tim Tebow were both right around 4.7, But knowing when and how to use it is all that matters and he has done a great job so far. Also being 6'4 215ish makes being tackled slightly harder.

True. He's a much better athlete than many think. Not sure why so many folks seem to have thought he couldn't at least be a serviceable runner. He was recruited by Urban Meyer. He doesn't recruit quarterbacks who can't run at least a little.

He's a much better runner than Dwayne Haskins. He doesn't have Dwayne's arm but he's better suited for running Urban's typical offense.

And I think he stole the QB Sneak page from the playbook and took it with him to Baton Rouge. The OSU coaches can't seem to find it.

burrow's running is starting to remind me of matt jones. doesn't look like he's running fast but he's taking one stride every 5 yards.

so great to have the player who is causing nightmares to the OTHER team

i disagree with that. whenever haskins threw deep against psu, he wasn't more accurate than burrow
