What is his 40 time, he outran UGAs LB and Safety. Ended up getting caught by a CB 50yds down field.

I didn’t realize until yesterday, but 247 classified him as a dual threat QB out of high school.

No need to be an a-hole. It's a fair question.

Burrow is fast enough to make defenses pay if they don't respect his athletic ability. Not the fastest guy in the world, but certainly has a high football IQ which is nice to see especially from the quarterback position. We haven't seen that in a long time. He's been a difference maker, no doubt. So glad that rag the Cincinnati Enquirer was right when they broke the news.

If I were to guess I'd say he runs a 4.7 40

His vision is what impresses me the most.

The number 8 dual threat QB in the nation.

I honestly thought this was common knowledge.

I agree.

I was only "hyping it up". After all, it's not like he hadn't had success running the ball before this game. Yes, the long run was eye-opening for many but him running the ball like a RB at times is nothing new.

Was more impressed that he faked out that safety in the open field on that run

Maybe it is and I’m just slow to catch up? But it certainly makes sense now.

You don’t see a ton of guys with his running ability AND football IQ. Really a difference maker on offense, which is refreshing to see from that position.

True. He's a much better athlete than many think. Not sure why so many folks seem to have thought he couldn't at least be a serviceable runner. He was recruited by Urban Meyer. He doesn't recruit quarterbacks who can't run at least a little.

I’ll give you one guess on why people thought he couldn’t be a serviceable runner.

I wasn't commenting on you directly. I just remember one if the first things I read when the transfer talks started was about him being a dual threat out of high school.

His dad coaches at Miami (Ohio.) OSU's loss is certainly LSU's gain.

I knew he was DT to be honest. He just doesn't look very fast until he gets going

Word on the street in Athens, Ohio is that Joe ran a mythical 4.12 - Just a shade faster than Bo Jackson's mythical 4.13

To be fair a 4.7 40 isn't that bad. That's what Darrell William's runs. I heard he plays on sundays.

Joe has slyly been transformed into a part time dual threat QB.

If he was just a hair faster he would be really dangerous on those keepers

Seems like the big runs come late in games when the defense is selling out
