He was making a case for why he ranked Texas ahead of LSU. Said LSU still doesn't have a passing game and Texas has a better win against OU. He downplayed the GA win saying they aren't as good as people thought.

Texas looks pretty good too, but ranking them over LSU is dumb.

1) Texas isn't a good passing team

2) OU has a very similar resume to UGA- lots of big wins against mediocre/bad teams, and a loss to the only good one they've played

Sounds like Galloway doesn't know what he's talking about

Who has OU beaten to assume that’s a better win than UGA? They almost lost to army

I watched that bullshite. Said Texas had a win over Oklahoma. Oh wait that is the same Oklahoma team that went to overtime with army right. Texas also lost to Maryland but as Joey and Jesse said "Texas is back". Texas barely beats Baylor 2 days ago . Yep whatever

Anyway

It's becoming a trend for us:

LSU beats ______, ______ isn't as good as we thought.

How about LSU is just fricking good.

And Texas does? Their QB is a noodle arm.

Every time we beat a good team this year it has been that the team we beat wasn't as good as the media thought! I say, "frick the Media." Let's ride this bitch to the National Championship then they can't deny us!!

Getting boatraced by a team that lost to Temple a few weeks later certainly trumps a close loss at the Swamp, I'll give Texas that.

Texas has looked good but LSU would beat them pretty convincingly in my opinion

OU was overrated from the jump running up the score on a bunch of below average to mediocre teams. Still not overly impressed with Kyler Muarray. If Galloway can’t respect the schedule we’ve played thus far compared to what Texas has played, he’s not being objective and clearly has a bias.

Losing to Maryland is worse than losing to Florida.

why does our style of offense have anything to do with our ranking?

and that's a bold claim about OU, considering in the next breath he downplayed Georgia. Has he considered the fact that Oklahoma might secretly suck arse? I would take UGA against them and probably lay 7 points at the moment

LSU and Texas are both very similar. Talented for sure. Getting better. But neither team is at the level where it doesn't matter who they play. It matters greatly for both teams. LSU plays their best when their back is against the wall and the media (and a segment of the fan base) is disrespecting them. So we crush Miami and Georgia, but we look "meh" against SELU and La Tech and we look past Florida to Georgia and plat sluggish in the Swamp.

Texas got amped for OU and overachieved (almost let them come back and take it from them) then came out flat against Baylor.

This is what worries me about Mississippi State.

But my point is that both teams are really good but not elite yet. They won't really be "back" until they start playing for themselves without needing an edge and without caring about who the opponent is.

I agree...texas will lose at least two more games...but it's great to see them relevant again...so much talent in the state of Texas...but when the alumni and the university leadership aren't working with the coach it's not going to happen....

We would pound Texas every day of the week, and I can’t wait until we do at their house and shut this shite down.
