We need to be on our toes. This was a big win vs Georgia but Mississippi st plays us tough.

Are we going to be looking ahead to the bye week?

Different team this year

I was waiting for this thread to be started.

0% this is a trap game. They beat our asses last year and have a very solid team this year. We’ll be ready

MSU is going to STTDB.

Agree. They remember last year loss to Miss State and should now know they can compete and beat any team in the country if they come to play.

I think it will be closer than we’d like.
But with last year’s score, it’s hard to imagine players looking ahead or behind.

UF was a trap game, MSU not so much with a bye coming up

More concerned with A&M....we beat State and Bama and struggle with Arkansas and Tex AM

This team has too much momentum and too much leadership for them to lose a game in tiger stadium to a team that beat their arse last year

There is NO WAY this team takes this game lightly or anything other than:
-Payback
-The next obstacle standing in their way. All of this teams goals are still achievable. SEC West Div Champ, SECCG, Play Off game and NC. (Just gotta win out)

It’s not trap game if that trap beat you by 30 the year before.

Do you know the meaning of trap game? Did you just want to try to see the negative after a great win? Did you want to try to find a dark cloud in LSU’s blue sky?

I mean we have been playing up and down literally every week
We need to stay focused and keep the momentum going.

Right. Lawrence didn't play last year, and that really hurt us.
And Fehoko wasn't eligible. Stop Nick Fitzgerald running, and we win.

You keep saying trap game and I don’t think you know what it means.

Coach O will have this team motivated this Tiger team remembers how they were embarrassed last year. No way this is a trap game especially with the confidence this team has right now, and the way the offense is starting to hit on all cylinders. The same o-line will be playing together for the 3rd straight week. Plus Aranda has had this game circled for a year. LSU will flex their muscles and Tiger Stadium will be electric for the 2nd week in a row
