Normally this would worry me, but after the way State beat us and then talked endless shite during and afterwards last year, you can bet this game is still circled. Our players are going to want a piece of Nicky Fitz. I hope Devin White destroys that jackass.

I just don't see this LSU team taking any team lightly from here on out. They know the stakes, and they already lost a game they should have won. We are a better team than florida, we let them beat us bc we overlooked them to an extent, which is why you saw LSU come out swinging this game vs uga. They knew they let one slip away from them that they had no business losing. State having beat us last year like they did will also have this team ready to go. I don't see it happening, actually, I see LSU putting an arse whipping on state. We were ranked number 5 against Florida and kinda let it get to our head and took it for granted, now, we are ranked 5 again and know we have everything to play for that we had 2 weeks ago, we just don't have room to lose another game. The tigers are gonna be ready.

Will be physical for sure-big lines on both sides of the ball but unless They suddenly develop a passing game, I don't see them beating the Tigers.

struggle with Arkansas

Does not compute.

Unless we encounter severe cold weather conditions in Fayetteville we will roll Arkansas. Morris offense isn't going to be a big challenge for this defense and we're facing a Chavis defense.

Every game on a schedule is a "Trap" game if you don't take care of business.

0% this is a trap game.

This is the definition of a trap game. When people think there is no chance of a loss, it’s a trap game. To say State has no chance of winning is insane.

It’s funny how far this board can swing in a 3 week period from being 5-0 to 5-1 to 6-1. High to low to high. State could win. We need a solid performance and a solid crowd.

I think it will be closer than we’d like.

But with last year’s score, it’s hard to imagine players looking ahead or behind.

Not to mention we're in the hunt for the SEC West title and they're an SEC West team

If they are flat for this game I can't find a reason why

I’m sure the arse whipping they gave us last year provides PLENTY of motivation.

After the historic arse whipping they put on us last year, the boys will be looking for revenge

Quintessential trap game!!! Lower ranked but solid team (not ranked in one poll) between games vs. 1 & 2.

Just labeling it a trap game after the that beating last year shows complacency. So you see, you’re the problem. lol.

No one on the team or staff is saying this, and neither are most fans. Pretty sure most learned their lesson 2 weeks ago.

I expect the team to be ready to play.

I can only give you a solid crowd for one half. Is that ok?

OP pretty much said this. You can argue semantics, but he’s implying this game is already won.

"Trap thread".... LoL….

This coaching staff and proven team character leads one to believe they will be prepared. Not taking anything for granted.
Each week I see more swagger, confidence, and iron will from these guys.
Also, this team has great leadership on both sides of the ball.... these guys will be ready.

I honestly believe the lesson was learned against UF. The bigger issue is the lack of film on MSU as Mullen has moved on.
