So it seems. Was told he was going to be there and assumed he made it in based off what I was told. My fault for assuming. Either way, can confirm that he did still speak with the staff about the game, but apparently that was by phone and not in person. My bad for assuming there.

1. Emery came to us wanting to talk. That wasn't just a courtesy conversation. It still isn't over, but I'll continue to stick with my prediction that he ends up in the class.
I think Emery is still in play. There will be some draw to us all the way though. Question is can we be the biggest draw. Hopefully Tommy is texting him asking his 'opinion' on why Holyfield only had 7 carries because 'he's obviously the future workhorse'.

Holy shite is Siaki Ika a large guy! He also had a great time with the staff, and he brought enough kinfolk with him to fill out a defense. One thing they absolutely loved was the Fehoko haka, and the fan reaction of excitement, acceptance, and love for their culture. They also will be spending an extra day and not leaving until Monday. Too early to call this fight, but we have a punchers chance here. Thought he was all Bama before the weekend, but as Corso says, "Not so fast my friend!".

We've been trying to work him for a while now. Seems we are getting somewhere... but damn I want him bad. He's someone Aranda can scheme around by his So. year. We need a booster to build a 'fishing camp' for the visiting family of all Polynesian decent.

George Pickens is on the hook. Just got to finish reeling him into the boat. He was on campus AGAIN, and he said it was by far the best college atmosphere he'd ever seen.
I consider Pickering gone. I think Pickens is ours to lose.

Hope the hyperbole but I get the idea.

Vol, a little clarification if you don't mind, ...did Emery come to us to talk after the game, or way before, like when he scheduled the visit? just wondering about the impact of
the outcome of the game with him....

The talk he’s referring to was the one reported by Shea via Twitter I’m guessing

It was after the game, O and Emery sitting down outside the stadium

As long as he is 'letting us stay in contact' we have a chance.

Sitting down with CEO in person- even better chance.

Auburn is turning into a dumpster fire and LSU is showing a passing game... not a five wide spread but 30 passes a game type without a bunch of bubble screens.

Beat Bama and we might close the deal on some of these guys. It is not just a one win conclusion but a signal of an emerging program like people think of UGA.

What if Pickens doesnt qualify? Bama wants him also but his grades are a concern for them. Not us?

Vol, Thanks for your insight...I wish the Tigers could get more Samoans...My son played College ball at a small school in Oklahoma, and his Buds were Samoans..Great kids..Large too...Their personalities are larger than life..When you're friends..you are friends til the end..

Yeah his blunder The one where he signed what could be the nation's best kicker (a position that cost us games last year) and our starting QB.
