Huh? Well first Hurts would have to announce his transfer. Then he would have to graduate to avoid sitting out a year. No way in hell Saban lets him go to another SEC west school much less Auburn.

Hurts graduates in December. I think the writing is on the wall is that he's going to transfer unless he has no aspirations of starting again. Additionally, the SEC changed the rule. Coaches can no longer block grad transfers from transferring to another school in the SEC. LINK

Only if he could rush the passer or block a pass rush. He should have changed positions anyway. He has NFL athletic ability but not as a QB.

yeah, what's really puzzling is that Saban has played Hurts in every single game this year in garbage time and burned a year of his eligibility, so it does present a question of what he's going to do. Many thought he would do Hurts a favor and play him in fewer than 5 games so he could use this year as a RS year, transfer, and have two years left to play, kind of like Dabo doing Bryant a solid by telling him after game 4 that Trevor Lawrence would be starting going forward.
