No, not even close
I am not even sure what our offensive identity is.
It’s been a bit different each game this season. Well based off play calling it seems that way
I would love to see LSU throw bubble screens. LSU has a difficult time blocking for burrow so we need to continue to dial up quick passes, plays that aren’t so long developing.

It does have some of those elements, but overall our offense it is a hodgepodge that is years behind the curve in terms of innovation or even currency.

Pete ran his offense for 60 minutes.
For some reason we run different offenses during each game. Wish that would change some day.

what is the identity of this offense? for all of the gripes of Les Miles offense, you can at least articulate it as a "power offense used to suck defenses in and make them pay on the play action"
As far as I can tell they are still trying to find their identity.

How would you even know.. at Florida the o line inability to pass protect takes half of the playbook off the table.
The offensive scheme against Ole Miss looked very good. But even then Burrow got, rocked a few times. Oline and pass protection are fundamental requirements to run a good offense. Without them it does not really matter what the scheme is.
Florida did not get 5 sacks. 8 hurries and 11 tackles for loss because our offensive scheme was bad. They got those because our offensive line is below average. As it has been for three or four years.

To be fair any offensive scheme looks good vs Ole Miss

I want to preface this by saying that the offense needs to get better in order for LSU to win more games but every team runs different plays versus different teams depending on match ups.
Look at Florida’s game plan vs Miss State then compare to game plan against LSU. It was completely different. Do they not have an identity? Against state they kept throwing horizontally then against LSU they attacked the middle of LSU’s defense. Why? Because throwing the ball side to side is playing into LSU defense’s hand just like running up the middle at State’s d line is.

Not surprising. The rant, completed ball or good run equals great scheme or play call. Incomplete ball, sack, no gain run, int, drop ball, holding penalty etc equal bad play call and scheme.
It’s very clear we are running a spread offense. The rant can’t recognize it. Yes, we run wr screens, however, when 10 doesn’t block his man and the play goes for no gain. Bad scheme/play call. Or when we hit the tight end for 28 yards and the left tackle holds, bad play call/scheme. If you hit 10 in the chest for a 20 yard gain but he drops it, bad play call and scheme. If you drop back to pass at the opponents 20, the left tackle misses his block and the qb fumbles bad scheme and play call.
