Solid opening to the season.
I thought the Crisis point was just a driver for the Thawn story but it looks like they are going to bring it back. I would like them to maybe delve a bit into exactly what crisis they are talking about.
Originally I thought it was just a nod to Crisis on Infinite Earths (and what happens with Barry there), but now am not so sure.

Shadow demons are mentioned in the article, Psycho Pirate talks about worlds living and dying in the article, and they cast The Monitor for this year’s crossover.
And if memory serves, I think they’ve said that if they make it to 2024 they’re doing Crisis on Infinjte Earths. They could always change course, but we’ll know one day.

So just like in episode 2, when Joe was “standing” in the scene, he was aided by leaning against something. I kind of think this has gone beyond silly coincidences at this point.

I am aware of her character in Black Sails. What does that have to do with Flash?? Or are you saying just bc an actor played a gay character in one show means the same actor will play a gay character in all future shows??
