How does free 2 day shipping of an item ordered before lunch today, equal Oct 12th by 8pm?
Amazon is really getting shady with the shipping dates.

About half the shite I order, even when in stock, still takes 5 days or so. I know that before i place the order though.

Yea I canceled my prime membership because it was taking a bit longer than advertised.
My poor arse can wait a couple extra days on standard free shipping than pay the $100/yr or whatever

Yes and I could pay 3.99 to have it tomorrow or if it was greater than $35, free one day shipping (which probably means Thursday by Amazon math).
How can one day shipping mean Tuesday or 2 day shipping mean Friday?

Usually it shows that before you order, even if it's "Prime." "Prime" doesn't really mean anything anymore.

If it isnt marked Prime when you ordered it, it isnt an item coming from Amazon fulfillment center.
