Some of you have a warped definition of "greatest." Most listed may be entertaining but are still crappy

I think a movie can be less great overall in this thread if it’s rating is that ‘that’ bad.

Like Gods of Egypt is 15% on RT. That is horrid and it was nowhere near that bad.

Looking at John Carter, I didn’t realize it actually got 50% on RT so that one was probably not a great addition by my self.

The Mighty Ducks being an 18% on rottentomatoes.com is a damn shame and probably keeps some kids from watching it this day and age.

Isn't that over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes?

In college, we didn't have cable most of the time. We had a VHS tape with BioDome, Happy Gilmore, and Under Siege 2: Dark Territory on it. All three are great movies that we watched constantly.

Greatest movies to receive terrible reviews

When I was a little kid I used to read the movie reviews in the paper (I liked to read, so I was doing this as far back as elementary). I think it was the State Times, we didn't get the Morning Advocate back then.

I can't quite remember who it was, but I do remember someone saying:

"overblown, campy, silly 'King Arthur in space', with a bunch of unknown and forgettable actors. 2 stars out of 5"

I was still able to talk my mom into letting me see Star Wars

Dumb & Dumber wasn't received well until it started doing really well at the box office. Goat imo.
