Ot mechanics work car having intermittent starting problems

3mo old batter
After driving to work in the morning, sitting in the garage all day car will slow start when leaving work, will eventually crank.
All other times, fires up no problem
Cleaned air filter, MAF sensor
Fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs?

Starter going down

Check inside of battery cable terminals. I’ve had where corrosion can get in there enough to cause sporadic problems but hard to see at a glance.

Sounds like a starter problem to me...

Had a similar problem with one of my vehicles. It ended up being the fuel pump. The dealer told me how to check.
The way to check is to turn the key but don’t start. The fuel pump should begin to pressure up the line. I could hear mine with no radio on. Do this twice then crank. If it continues to start all the time from doing that then it’s the fuel pump. They replaced mine and never had an issue again.
Could also be the bendix spring in the starter.
Check your battery cables on both ends also.

starter problem or the main battery cables are bad
to test the battery cables, disconnect the battery, then use a good set of jumper cables on the battery direct to the lugs without the clamps in the way, then connect the ground directly to the engine on a good secure clean ground location, then connect the positive jumper cable directly to the alternator main wire mounting bolt
if its still dragging and the battery isnt weak, then its a bad starter about to go out
the good news is if its the starter it most likely just needs the brushes replaced to make it like new again. most brands make a replacement kit for the starter brushes, because they wear out like brake pads over time

With the limited information it could be:
-starter going bad
-terminals going bad
-something dirty that you forgot
I say drive it till it breaks then worry about it.

Do you have a multimeter?

Sounds like a fuel pump issue.

Please further explain slow start. Is the engine spinning over slow or is it spinning fine but takes a while to actually start running.
Since you cleaned/questions things unrelated to turning the engine over, I will assume the latter. Fuel pump getting ask if had check valve. As mentioned, cycle the key a couple of times before starting.
Could also be a leaking fuel injector that is dripping fuel into a cylinder cause a rough start. Do you smell raw fuel or overly rich exhaust when it starts?
How many miles? What kind of vehicle? There are a lot of things on vehicles that can cause conditions. The more you can observe, the better chance of a quick resolution especially with an intermittent problem.

Just for the frick of it, maker sure all your relays and fuses are fully seated. Probably not the issue, but it will take about two minutes to do.

There's no point in pontificating until OP answers this question.

Make, model, engine would help because there are make & model specific problems.
e.g., battery connection, battery itself, starter, ignition switch (not likely), neutral safety switch (not likely)

Could be a bad battery. Had this happen to me twice with new batteries. Go ahead and have it checked before spending any money.

Make/Model?
I had a Colorado that had a similar problem, turned out to be the passlock module.

Let this be a warning to folks who don't use fuel system cleaner.
