Brian Urlacher, Tiki Barber and Eddie George come to mind for football. Gary Payton, Tim Hardaway and of course Michael Jordan for basketball.
Just don’t see as many in today’s world of athletics.

LeBron is bald, he just spray paints it.

Bosley and Wayne Rooney happened...seriously, he made it acceptable to get plugs for an athlete.
Hell, half of them have sponsored from local hair doctors now.

Ya Urlacher had the hair transplant surgery.
My buddy went to the same guy in Chicago. Looks good.
Maybe I'll consider it.

They became cops after high school.
Better question.
What happened to the mustached athlete?
And I'm not talking about trying to be different for a year like Aaron Rodgers or rock some weird stache or giant beard like baseball relievers or hockey during the playoffs.
I'm talking about the every day mustache for life athlete.

The mustache trend died in the late 90s bud

Ergo the question...
And it wasn't a trend.
Trend is Rodgers - did he play in the 90's? And countless athletes sporting funky staches this past 10 years and beards.
I'm not talking about trends. I'm talking about real mustache guy who doesn't care about trends like big beard baseball players.
He wears it for life...he's a mustache guy...and just happens to be an athlete.
Not an athlete trying to be different or cool.
And don't call me bud unless you can bring something better to this forum beyond uninformed snark.

Most black men, including athletes, still have mustaches. Most times they’re pencil thin though.
