Watching Dan Mullen interviewed on Marty and McGee wearing logo of an athlete from another school and another sport just seems odd. Or more to it, why Nike advertises a basketball brand on football unis. They should buy the Heisman logo.

My sister's HS beau runs the Jordan Brand but never liked me.

Because Nike owns the Jordan logo and not the Heisman logo

Only Jordan jumpman logo I want to see is on my feet. I hope LSU never does that. Michigan used to have classic uniforms and now they look like trash.

It's idiotic to include a basketball guy on football gear, but Nike knows where they make the most money and it's not on football related apparel. Nike pays these schools a bunch of money, so they call the shots.

Basketball related gear makes Nike by far the most money in the US. There are millions of broke arse brothas who still gotta buy every new fancy pair of kicks released. That's how you represent son.

Michigan, North Carolina, and Oklahoma do it too. I'm not a fan but players probably like it so whatever.

If you were to ask people what is Nike they would say all there is sneaker company. They are a data company and one of the first ever.

Being able to give 18-22 year old kids Jordan apparel for free is a big recruiting tool, and I think most of the stuff they've put out is pretty good

Only their road uniform change and it's a huge improvement.

Unless you have some obsessive connection to certain number fonts, their uniforms are more classic now than they were with adidas.

The Adidas logo is from another country and has a strong historic association to the Nazi party.

The Nike swoosh was a hallmark of track spikes and running shoes.

The only modern sportswear company that made uniform pieces from the beginning was Under Armour.

I bet you 10/10 players who wear that logo, and get the apparel that comes along with it would rather the Jumpman logo on their clothes than the Nike swoosh. I'll put money on it.

No it's not. It's a brand now. Yes it was originally based on a basketball player. But I think we can agree that the Jordan brand is more than just basketball. The two haven't been mutually exclusive for a long time.

The OU players absolutely love it. Every single recruit that comes through talks about how bad arse the gear is. Having Jumpman on the OU apparel has given us a recruit edge, even if it is minor.

The changes are very minor and the only people who have had any issue with are fat old white dudes who can't grasp the fact that Jumpman is a brand.
