After I’ve given the 5 days to vacate notice and they have not left where do I go exactly in Nola to file an eviction lawsuit?

Pretty sure to the the sheriff or NOPD.
Landlord laws in LA are strong, they'll toss em out with the quickness.

In Lafayette, it's City Court.

First city court. Bring a $126 check for them and $60 check to the constable.

Your post wasn’t slick enough. We know it’s you.

It used to be First City Court 2nd floor of the court house unless you are in Algiers. Algiers has its own Second City Court by the Ferry.

Don’t go to the cops. They’ll say they can’t do anything without a court order.
You’ll need to file a petition for eviction and a judge will likely order that they vacate the premises within 72 hours or so. You can have the cops show up if the tenant isn’t out by then.
