The body is made to look like a Cadillac sedan but the drive train and chassis are GMC truck 1 ton I believe.
Edit to correct: Drive train and Chassis are Chevy Kodiac so 2 -3 ton truck.

That can't be right unless its aluminum or some type of honeycombed steel design.
Solid steel plate would be about 250 lbs per sq ft

It is probably 6 inches thick, but has you indicate some type of honeycomb material, aluminum, or Kevlar/carbon fiber, something that will absorb the energy from a bomb blast, solid steel plate would just transfer blast energy to the chassis of the vehicle possibly causing it to raise off the ground.
