Some people on here are so stupid. Y’all forget that lebron was the exact same way. He will develop a jump shot, he has just spent his whole life working on all the other things a point forward needs like ball handling, passing, spacing, etc. basically all the things that make him the most dynamic player since LeBron. Give him 2-3 years and he will be a +30% three point shooter.

I've always wondered with people who are good basketball players but can't shoot... what in the hell do they do when they play by themselves?

When I was growing up, if I had nothing to do, I'd be outside shooting and dribbling. Working on different moves, playing 1 on 1 with an invisible opponent.

But what do all of these players who can't shoot do when they play by themselves? Are they just doing the Mikan drill the whole time? Are they not shooting the ball?

You can't practice passing the ball and other things related to team basketball when you are by yourself. Surely they shoot around... so why do they suck so much at shooting?
