If there is any substance to this and Sara or her crew don't end up Clintoned before it becomes public, the Eff Bee Eye is finished. That kind of subterfuge can only come from the highest levels of the Bureau, and above.
This isn't a black eye if it's true... This is the mother of all bombs. I know that there are good, honest agents in the Bureau. But how do you weed out the who's who without completely dismantling the agency and either rebuilding it or delegating responsibilities temporarily or permanently to other LEA's?
If this is true, the Eff Bee Eye has done themselves in. Strozk's little smug looks during questioning definitely make more sense in that he would be that arrogant if he was following orders directly from the top.

Kind of goes without saying if he is the assistant director and, due to Sessions' recusing himself, has been the lead on a lot of controversial stuff such as FISA warrants.

Who would be stupid enough to keep incriminating evidence against themselves? I just dont know. If this is true how can people not go to jail?

It's appropriate to apply critical thinking to these reports. If you can't make sense of it, then I don't think it should be believed.
