Disagree... That Balt team was old and slow.... A great season but not even top ten all-time.... Good read more books.....
-13-1 regular season record
-29-10 average MOV (the 144 points they conceded that season was the pro record at the time)
-OBLITERATED the Cleveland Browns (only regular season loss that season) 34-0 to win the NFL title
-Biggest point favorite to win the Super Bowl in the history of the game (bigger than Lombardi's Packers the preceding 2 seasons)
-A backup QB (Morrall) won the NFL MVP that season

Are you trying to compare Namath to Marino?????
Watch some Joe Namath tape and get back to me, Peej

If only he didn't shred his knees at Bama would we have witnessed arguably the greatest quarterback's career maybe ever

WOW...........
What's WOW about it? Appears pretty logical to me and people who know the sport considering his athletic attributes before the knee injuries

dude was one of the first great transcendent high school quarterback prospects in the sport's history when he decided on Alabama the John Elway of his time.

WOW.............
There's a reason Joe Willie was recruited heavily by such institutions like Penn State, Ohio State, Maryland, Alabama, Notre Dame and Bear Bryant called him the greatest athlete he ever coached. Work with us, Peej.

I don't know if this is a knock for him or against him.
But Al Davis was in love with Joe Namath.

Eli for as bad of decisions he makes has the feet of a ballerina. Which makes it mystifying why he does what he does. Him and Peyton have the best feet for NFL QB’s.
Peyton?
Big Ben for all his thickness had better tippy-toes, dude could dance in the pocket.

Peyton Manning has the best footwork of any QB ever. Evading the rush isn’t what I’m talking about.
You never ever saw Peyton out of position because of his feet. If you’re teaching a kid to play QB you use Peyton’s feet and Brady’s Put the C in your left pocket.
