Not all fans are warm and fuzzy, though. Got cursed at by a young prick from one of the tailgate tents for me yelling
"Two in a row, baby!" Told me to get my f---ing arse out of there. I responded, "You learned that big word at Auburn? Two syllables, at that!" Needless to say he was brokenhearted!

So someone treated you like a dick after you acted like a dick? Oh the horror.

Lutcher Lad sounds kind of young. I don't get being a dick after a win. Hopefully he got slapped upside his face with a corndog.

well it sounded loud as hell, and it's usually that way on TV over the years.

I haven't been there, but I view Jordan-Hare one of the best venues in the SEC.

Why do so many posters here think everything LSU has is the best, and everything every other school has is inferior?

There are a lot of other very good football programs with great tradition and a great fan base? Yes, we're among the best in many ways, but that doesn't mean Auburn is terrible.

In fact, I know a lot of Auburn folks (there are many here in Atlanta) and they're good people who are as passionate about their football as we are.

I can respect that.

Can someone explain why people keep saying JURdan hare?

because it's named after their long-time coach, Shug Jordan, who pronounced it Jur-dan.

Concession lines on my side were a nightmare the whole game. I guess people kept going back to get fluids.

Their Jumbotron is awesome.

I was there...it's the sound system on the MegaTron TV that makes the most noise. Fans are passionate, no doubt, but I was impressed by how they utilized the big screen to motivate the masses and how they promoted their players, etc.

They must have replayed Jordan Jefferson getting double slammed a dozen times. 'And yes, it did energize the fans and players

I remember in 2010 you could hear the LSU fans over the Auburn fans the entire game. I was in the student section.

They ran out of bottled water on our side. We saw a lady get carried off the field in a white sheet by 4 cops and staff. She looked unconscious.

ETA..That's how hot it was out there

Been once. Fans were nice, especially after the game when they were selling t.p. for $1 a roll. Best thing...the eagle fly in pre-game. O e thing we have in common...hate the other team in Alabama!

Auburn folks were saying welcome. Very nice experience. Nothing negative after game, saw no one on either side showing their arse

In the early 80’s I had a girlfriend who went to Auburn when I was living in Atlanta. Went to several games and it was the loudest stadium I had been to other than TS. Have been to most SEC stadiums.

I was there for the Jamie Howard “Amadeeville Horror” game in 94, and the Barn Burner in 96. It was damn loud in there at the end of the 94 game, especially during those Pick 6s. What a terrible day.

Yeah dude you couldn’t drink enough water in that stadium. My brother’s buddy had to leave the game due to the combination of extreme hangover and severe dehydration. I had to sit down a couple times to get out of the sun.

Is it due to the accent you guys have? Do y’all pronounce Michael Jordan the same way or is it that the person who the stadium is named after pronounces his name that way specific to his family?
