What is the worst day you have ever had?

All three of my girlfriends found out about each other. Two of them just so happened to be in the same class. They had been talking about me to each other. Then realized it sounded very similar and ask what the name was. The 3rd was a bartender and she found out when they went to go have some drinks to celebrate their discovery. They pretty much told the whole bar, which lead to my 6 month dry spell and subsequent banishment by the sororities from dating me. Thank God for the next Freshman class or I may not have survived college.

My 30 year old sister dropped dead one day. She was in relatively good shape, good health (so we thought). It was like a sucker punch from Mike Tyson to the face. I thought my dad was doing a very bad prank when he called me. All other shite going on that I thought mattered at that particular time took a very extended back seat.

Thanksgiving 2004. Traveled to my grandparents that morning to celebrate thanksgiving. They raised me. Once I got there my grandma asked me to go check on my grandpa. She said he hadn't gotten up yet (they slept in separate rooms, had for years). Wasn't really odd because we got there pretty early in the morning. Went to check on him and as soon as I walked in his bedroom door I knew he was dead. My first career was as a funeral director/embalmer so I knew the look.
Didn't tell my grandma right away. I went to their guestroom and started calling all their children and grandchildren. Once everyone was on the way, I sat my grandma down (she was busy working on thanksgiving dinner) and broke the news to her. Hardest thing I've ever had to do.

Worst day was the day my mom died of cancer.
2nd worst day was 11/8/2016 starting at approximately 9:50 pm. That's when Trump was projected the winner in Florida, and I knew it was over. It's pretty much been a nightmare ever since.

Oct 1,2011 my aunt and my mom passed away within a 22 hr span.

My uncle shot and killed my grandmother. My family spent the night holed up somewhere because we didn’t know where he was and what his intentions were towards the rest of our family. Late into the night we got the call that he killed himself.

My best friend was murdered while I was in the Navy. They wouldn't let me take leave to go to the funeral because he wasn't immediate family.

Watching a very close family member die of cancer. The nurses turned off her life support, and watching her heartbeat gradually tumble down to 0 BPM was the most traumatic thing I’ve experienced.
