Funny how the LHSAA investigators also left out all the problems that occurred at the end of May between Andrew and VC after they found out he was leaving for HHS. It was all left out of the investigation papers according to witness that were standing right there during the questioning at the school.

Because that never came up....they can't put in what they don't hear or find....

What you just said, your last comment, sounds a lot better than all the stuff you've been posing about the infractions. You really need to see the investigation papers. I could care less about if your son had to sit are not. There are legal ways around that in which was suppose to happen in the first place for the kid, then all things changed when jersey news all broke out and paperwork was held on to longer than expected and not sent to HHS. Is coach wrong and deserve suspension absolutely and he admits it was wrong but stated he didn't think it was going to be a problem since the enrollment process had begun and he was going to HHS. Its not like anyone was trying to hide that he was going to Hahnville.

If the arbitration is in 2-4 weeks and the kid wins then he can play for hahnville for what 2-3 games. I’m assuming their record would keep them out of the playoffs.

Would the kid even know enough of the playbook or anything for it to make a difference anyway ???

Agree, but Coach Robison emailed VCHS in late July that he was leaving. not until then can the process begin. you cannot email someone in July and say effective May 30. so everything before the July 20ish email is against the rules. if Coach Robison would have withdrawn Andrew on May 30 not July Andrew probably would not have missed a game. It still suck that Andrew can't play.

How do you know that their were problems? Because the kid said so? His dad is behind EVERYTHING he says and will lie to get what he wants

well he's been practicing with them since May, so I'd imagine he has a pretty good idea on the playbook

How does any of that behind the scenes drama have anything to do with eligibility? The move was either a legit move allowed by the rules or not.

Choup says the move was against the rules. Do we have anybody here that disputes that?

Owl I'll take it you never coached

nope never have, and my school would benefit from such an environment

I understand why some are, but that sort of competition led to football programs like West Monroe and such to grow, and that's the essence of the LHSAA

I'll give them a loss to Destrehan and Terrebonne will be a toss up, but they should get in even at 4-6 which would mean another loss

From Kristian Garic

(1) UPDATE: Robison Family files temp restraining order (TRO). Court specifies HHS (no grievance filed against them) MUST follow court order of restraint against Ineligibility protected from LHSAA punitive retaliation by court. LHSAA can't punish school for obeying law. #spicy”

2 UPDATE: If the court rules LHSAA ruling of Andrew Robison unconstitutional then he plays. LHSAA VC Atwell, and HHS can't enforce the Illegal ruling of ineligibility. TRO has to be signed by judge tomorrow for this to happen

3. UPDATE: This is a bit of opinion here. I can't see a judge not signing this. I just don't see it. Would be surprised if he/she doesn't.

Keep in mind if HHS files TRO they would be in violation of contract with LHSAA which requires them to follow next step of arbitration so in essence they can't because of bully tactics by LHSAA

AR as individual does not have such a contract. His claim is he has constitutional rights for due process that were denied. Not to mention negligence, investigation fraud. Property rights violation by LHSAA that are illegal. NO grievance against HHS only listed to protect school“

Private schools need to break away from LHSAA and invite public schools over and form their own hs sports association

because they are enforcing the rules that the majority voted on and approved?

you do realize that a few years ago attempts to get privates to break away failed miserably.

and many are happy now that the LHSAA is actually enforcing it's regulations.

pulbic/private had nothing to do with this issue... at this issue are to core rules around transfering

Okay... My point is the separation of public and private for state championships is a joke and cheapens the accomplishment when you have 30 other state champions. Eventually, the catholic schools in NOLA will ban together and breakaway due to this factor. Also, I think it weakens louisiana sports as a whole and produces worse athletes

no... no they won't and do you realize a couple of them are the REASON for the split in the first place? the play in class rule one of their principals authored and pushed in 2004 is what got us to where we are now.....

so 10 schools will break away....

the teams that win state are still pretty freaking good..... is 9 too many..... yes - but with the disparity among classes pretty necessary - hardly fair to make catholic of pointe coupee play pbs and u high....

had the LHSAA done due dilligence and enforced rules years ago - we would not be in this boat now either.

Can someone detail this restraining order more? I'm not understanding the point of it.

Yep, I said back then to the public schools that thought this is a private/public issue.....they are wrong. It is about enforcing the rules. Then, of course, everybody likes enforcing the rules until it involves them.
