She had something in her right hand she was wanting to slip to the President. He didn't shake her hand so she tried to slip it in her waist band but then he turned back towards her. She then slips it her left hand as Pence tries to shake her hand. I think he was trying to get it but she had it in the wrong hand

Probably something she wanted to get specifically to him. Could be a thank you note or a personal plea for him to lend assistance.
