would you have rather lost to Miami and blown SELU out? really, the offense is going to be a concern until it isn't, but you'd think the team was in the toilet. right now we have a shot at beating auburn and improving. Geaux tigers!

I'm not real sure what this has to do with anything.

A collection of 40 people from this board could probably beat Savannah State. They're horrible.

University-Louisiana Monroe had nearly 600 yards of offense against Southeastern.

Savannah State is bad. They lost 56-0 to UAB I think, and UAB just got beat by Costal by double digits.

So Miami took a step forward this weekend and LSU took a step back? Question for you, could LSU have beaten Miami this past Saturday if we played like we played against SELU?

So our offense is better than Savannah State? I’m confused about this thread.

We know what needs to improve. And it needs to happen like yesterday.

Look forward to Auburn.

No. I would rather have both beaten Miami then come out and beat SLU 77-0 with the offense firing on all cylinders and moving the ball at will.

Instead we saw a team that could not block nor move the ball down the field against the weakest team we have played in the last decade.

Well this definitely shows Miami was a quality dub!

Savannah State is moving to D2 next year. We should have won by 77-0. We will know if Miami is a legit top 15-10 team if we win out up until that VA Tech game. We beat VT and we are back in business.

I would have rather hired an OC that had designed and called plays in the last 25 years. I know, It’s a bunch to ask.

if we would've lost to Miami maybe we would've taken it out on SELU rather than just wanting to get it over with.

mindset makes a difference.

That’s for sure.

But I’m not sure it really backs up your overall position.

A lot of LSU fans secretly would rather this - lose a close one to Miami and blow SE out rather than "win ugly."

Folks don't have to like this for it to be true. It is true.

You do realize Savannah State is one of the very worst FCS teams out there, right? They have gone winless or next to winless a lot and have 3 wins each season the last few years playing absolutely awful FCS competition. UAB beat them 52-0 week 1.

App State beat them 54-7 last year.
Georgia Southern and Southern Miss beat them a combined 110-0 in 2016.

Georgia Southern beat them 83-9 back in 2014
